After a decade of neglect the United States is paying close attention to Africa Again. A New Military Command, Increase in the Amount of Aid and Terrorism are just some of the concerns you will read about in Here. And Maybe we all may find out what decisions are being made both Inside the Beltway and in Africa!

The idea behind the name Confused Eagle is a metaphor. More often than not the US has backed more than one faction in a Conflict. Sometimes it has been both sides in the same War!

I have been active in Human Rights in Africa for a decade now. There are many reasons that the US takes or does not take action. I will try to explain them here.

Zimbabwe is in Crisis!! Stability in Kenya is tenous at best. Instability reigns in the Horn of Africa. "Supporters of Al-Qaida are Active in West Africa.
 
These are just some of the concerns that the Next President will have to face beginning next January.
 
Confused Eagle will continue to highlight these issues and whatever crisis erupts in Africa.

For Whatever Reason The Mainstream Media is not concerned about US Policy towards Africa. But in stark Contrast the African Media has been focused on the US Presidential Race this year.
