There are Three Main Areas that Have Genereated the Most Interest of the
United States. They are the Darfur Conflict Zone (Including Chad and the Central African Republic), The Horn of Africa, (Ethiopia,Somalia,Eritrea
and Kenya) and Zimbabwe.
However there are other Areas that the Nation should Pay Attention to as well.
First is the Casamance Region:
This is a Region that encompasses Senegal, Gambia and Guniea-Bissau. In recent Months there
has been ample reason for concern as there has been an Increase in Drug Trafficking through Guniea-Bissau and a General Decline
in Human Rights in the Gambia. The situation in Senegal may be directly affected by Events in its Neighboring States.
Democratic Republic of the Congo:
The Good News is that there Has been a Peace Deal. The Bad News is that Not all of the Militias
have Disarmed.

Cameroon:
There are more than One Reason for the US to be concerned with this state. It is the Terminal for a Pipeline
Delivering Oil from T'Chad, There is growing Economic Turmoil and the President wishes to Amend the Constitution so He can
Run for Another Term as President. Plus the English Speaking Minority wishes to Secede from the Country.
Burundi:
There has been an increase in the Number of Attacks against Members of the Political Opposition.
The Above Mentioned List is just a Sample of the Concerns that will Draw the Interest of both Washington and
Advocates.
