that the African Forces will receive. Training for Peacekeeping Operations and Disaster Relief Will be Just as Important as
the Specialized Weapons Training and Border Security. This is the First Flintlock Exercise being Undertaken by Africom.
The Air Force Feels that Using these Aircraft in Mali Gives a Unique Opportunity
to test the Speed, Range and Capabilities of this Aircraft in a demanding environment. The Marine Corps has used their Version
of this Aircraft Effectively in Iraq.
In Recent Weeks there have been calls for Helicopters to be Deployed to Darfur
and to have Special Forces Units Augment the UN Peacekeepers recover the Initiative in a Rapidly Collapsing Environment in
the Congo.
Could a New Administration Use this unique Aircraft to Address two UN Peacekeeping
Missions in chaos?
