The Report Indicated that on two Seperate Ocassions during Early
August and Earlier this Month between 14 to 20 Young Somali Men have Disappeared from the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.
Federal Authorities are currently investigating whether or not they are Either
Part of the Recent Spike in Pirate Activity or have been Recruited by Islamist Militias.
It is believed that One Person left the Region Earlier this year and was
a Suicide Bomber in Somalia.
Most of those who have Disappeared Have College Educations and have both
Strong Family Values and Culture Shock.
There May be a US Connection to the Attacks by Somali Pirates!
There are Legitimate Concerns that these Men may have been either
Indocrinated or Even Recruited to Return to Somalia.
There is currently no knowledge of anyone Actively Recruiting People to Return
to Somalia in the Community either.
Several Nations Including the United States have Naval Forces in the Gulf
of Aden Region in an Attempt to bring to a Halt the Brazen Attacks by Somali Pirates. So Far this year in an Estimated 90
attacks the Pirates have netted roughy $ 150 Million. Not bad for a Group of Fishermen living in an Anarchy Plagued Failed
State.
So what happens when/if they come into contact with US Forces and are Captured?
